The Company is pleased to announce that it has been established under the name of Tullip Energy Exploration & Development BV. Tullip Energy is an exploration and development company specialising in oil and gas, mining and geothermal projects in Europe, Africa and Central Asia.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Tullip Energy Exploration and Development has a portfolio of energy projects executed in Kazakhstan, the Middle East and is actively seeking projects in Africa in the field of oil and gas exploration and production, mining and geothermal and solar energy. The management team of Tullip Energy has extensive knowledge of these regions and over a century of combined experience of operating experience in the development and production of oilfields.
A number of projects are currently under review to estimate the reserves and attract required investments and will ultimately generate short-term cash flow and long-term success for our stakeholders.

Oil and Gas
Since oil will remain the major energy resource in the 21st century, we continue to participate in oil and gas projects in Kazakhstan.

Geothermal
Although geothermal is presently a minor player in the field of renewable energy, in our company we believe that this source will be developing rapidly in the coming decades as it is as close to a perfect source of renewable energy as one can get thanks to its virtually limitless supply.

Mining
The countries that we operate in are rich in mineral resources and our vision includes having a close look at any potential opportunities in this field.

Solar power (PV panels)
Solar energy is an important and the third biggest renewable power source, with photovoltaic (PV) technology the dominant source. Photovoltaics (PV) covers the conversion of light into electricity using semiconducting materials that exhibit the photovoltaic effect, a phenomenon studied in physics, photochemistry, and electrochemistry. A typical photovoltaic system employs solar panels, each comprising a number of solar cells, which generate electrical power. The first step is the photoelectric effect followed by an electrochemical process where crystallized atoms, ionized in a series, generate an electric current. PV Installations may be ground-mounted, rooftop mounted or wall mounted.

COMPANY MISSION

Tullip's mission is to build a profitable and successful energy company, based on the development of existing reserves and resources, and utilizing the most appropriate and effective techniques to generate cash flow for its owners, whilst being in a position to explore and develop upside to add asset value to the business. The Company will do this in areas where it can find or exploit a competitive edge, in either technology, business, contacts or local knowledge.

COMPANY OBJECTIVES

  • Diversification of activities from conventional energy sources to alternative ones (geothermal).
  • Moving profits from oil and gas development projects and into emerging alternative energy sources as geothermal energy.
  • Development and producing oil and gas fields in mature areas with the aim of producing near-term cash flow.
